Is it written anywhere that it is not allowed for vehicle ID plates to be sold? They are a part of a car after all. I can recall a topic here about the sale of handbooks for Monaros so why not sell ID plates as well. Selling/buying them is one thing but t

Mike, I think to the letter of the law it is "unlawful" to remove an ADR tag from a body, and this ends up being applied (by the law ie Police etc) to all tags. I think the big push against anything to do with tags though is due to people re-birthing, com

removal of tags illegal?
so it may be illegal to possess removed tags, that arent on a vehicle and if you had many, many sets you may have been given for free, so called "collecting"
you may have to turn them in to your local cop shop to avoid these

ok boys how about this, i had a unredgestered hj statesman with a 350 chev which i took up the road for a squirt the cops eventually caught up with me at my house, i copped the fine and paid it, then they looked under they bonnet and found it had no engin

If you grind & smooth both sides then youll never know it wasnt original ( CUT & SHUT the numbers ), that goes with Hq - Wb chassis aswell also XYGT front suspension tower numbers .

It would be simple to get it totally un pickable , even for the top

There was a phase 111 winning shows in gawler (s.a),until an expert turned up with a REAL one,its not only the numbers.Eventually youll get found out.This one had the wrong hoses or something?Im no expert but there are some very switched on people as far
