Ive got the above car and the two remotes we have, 1 is the original and one is about 4 months old, the buttons won't unlock, lock the car or boot. they have both been tested and a signal is given from all buttons. Any idea on the problem? Is the security code or something?

I should clarify - Its the heads of the keys. The guy at Mr Minute (Key place) tested them. Car starts and runs etc, fuse is ok, central locking works when you use the drivers door. Wondering if anyone has any ideas before i take it to the auto electricia

Try this:
Disconnect battery pos. and neg. cables and touch them together.
Wait 15secs, reconnect. Try remotes.
