hey yall,
i have tried googling it to no avail,
where is the best place to get one of those humungous spotlights, you see on roo shooters vans etc,
i have knocked up a remote control directional unit for it,
and it should look good where i will be placing it, i also have it so it turns around when not in use, lessens stone breakage,
but where do i get one, at the best price?
cheers
bcb
p.s.
i am a cheapskate,,

said the weathercock to the wind,> "how tedious and monotonous you are, can you not blow in any other direction, but in my face!"
and the wind did not answer, it just laughed in space.

Youre looking for a bull light. Most truck shops or 4WD shops (ARB etc.) will stock them, as well as lenses if you need. I know Narva (among others probably) make them. PN 72315

Good luck mate

i think technically youre not allowed to have the lights any higher on the car, than the original mounting position of your headlights? I may be wrong. Can someone clarify?

I think that you are right Big Al. However if its a "loading light" you might get away with it.

Cibie <SP?> Super Oscars are another brand & well liked by rally drivers.

Its the movable as you drive aspect. The authorities dont want people driving around shining spotlights into other drivers eyes. Many years ago Rover had a central headlight that moved as the steering wheel moved to shine around bends, it was banned.
