want to put electronic igition on my 308 in the HQ. It runs on petrol.

WB or VH-VL V8 engine has a HEI thatll bolt in. Either use as is or turf the big cap and use with your points dizzy cap and leads with an VX/XE V8 rotor button. You need a 12V HEI coil, and as Dr Terry has pointed out here before an XD/XE electronic dizzy |

Ive just done this on my 308 HT Brougham, I got a WB dissy and coil from a bloke on this forum (Luke), used my old dizzy cap and a XD 351 rotor button. Also need to ensure you have 12 volts at the coil, you may need to replace the resistance wire if HQ us
