I have a FJ Holden with a modified grey motor and 9.5 to 1 compression. It is converted to 12 volt electricals. I am having trouble getting a starter motor that is good enough to turn it over. Any suggestions?

The starter used in FB to EJ series (138 ci) is a 4-pole unit & has more torque. Its probably the best factory starter for grey motors.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
