Hi came across a guy selling rebuilt Eh steering boxes on ebay. He claims that they are competition boxes that take less turns to get to full lock ? Anybody out there ever heard of this ? I thought there were only 150 S4 Ehs made ? Hows this guy coming upwith competition boxes or is it a scam ? Any help much appreciated .

Im would be supprised if GM-H went to the expense of a different steering
box to get a faster ratio, the easy way to do it is to have shorter stering
arms on the suspension uprights.

So Im sceptical, but happy to be proven wrong.

There are (new) aftermarket parts on the market to suit these boxes, which are ava

Hi Les.

Yes, it is true for EH to HR, but for FE to EJ it is slower, or more turns lock to lock.

I realise your comment was tongue-in-cheek, but the difference is quite negligible.
