yes the origional glove box has to be removed as the unit fits under/ replaces the large fresh air intake cowling. So the origional glove box has the back of it trimed out and a new backing cover is rivited/ fixed in.

Hi Crowe.
That sounds exactly like the setup i have. I also have a HZ sandman which had aircon but has had it removed. It now has 2 aircon pipes running from under the glovebox, to nothing in the engine bay. It also has the half size/cut glovebox thingy.
