Just thought id let other ebay sellers know the latest keyword spamming claims.
Where we used to be able to advertise a parts as:
Holden HJ HX HZ WB - Bonnet
then about 3 months ago we had to change it to:
Holden suit HJ HX HZ WB - Bonnet
or
Holden for HJ HX HZ WB - Bonnet
Now im told by the ebay powerseller reps (i rang them due to having several listings removed)
that we have list them as follows:
Suit Holden HJ HX HZ WB - Bonnet
or
For Holden HJ HX HZ WB - Bonnet
This is because Holden and other car makers do not want us the sellers of s/h or new parts to say that they are a holden part. by putting For or Suit infront we are stating that they are to suit a holden and not exactly a holden part. (defently relevent to aftermarket parts)
So i guess a can see holden and other makers point of view but what a pain!!!!!
anyhow im off to revise my 353 listings. if each listing takes 2mins to revise i should be done in about 11 hours! fun fun fun......
Just thought id warn others before you have your listings removed.

Nah its just for spammers like you who put GTS in the title of all your listings like sandman stickers. GTS Sandman? WTF? Also your parts are reproduction not Holden parts so of course you shouldnt describe them as Holden Whatever in your title. Fair call

lol Jerry. I think we have covered the sandman sticker thing. As perviously said. It was wrong for me to put "gts" in the sandman stickers. your point taken.

Keywork SPAMMERS piss me off as well. There is nothing more annoying than searching for GTS or Monaro and getting a crap load common parts.
Worse still is the HJ decal kit that includes a Sandman horn badge ..... OR ... HQ,HJ,HX,HZ Holden GTS steering

Just spoke to ebay about this one of of interest. Sorry i was unaware that i should have a "personal account manager" to sell on ebay?
When i rang power seller (the bloke i spoke to was an aussie) he spoke to the listing/keyword spamming etc department so he could give me a correct answer.
