hey yall, quaudrajet carby, my mate pulled it apart and gave me the A/ok, he has since gone to spain, or south of france,, i think?? anyways,,when i adjusted 2 screws in for leaness, found they both screwed right in, with 308 still running?? choke has been tied up, as it was on gas? i thinks to myself i did, that it is running a tadd rich?? certainly not blowin blue smoke, darkish smoke at high revs? so,,,, men of the 308 fan club, suggestions? does i have to pull it apart?? or could there be another reason?? is it easy to fix? thanks already bcb

BCB. If you could turn both the mixture screws right in at the same time and it did not stall. I would suspect that the base idle is set to high and that the carby is not running on the idle circuit at all and that it is actually running on the primary
