hey there i cant find any info on what i will need to do too convert my v6 VY S Pack into v8 i was going to just buy a gen 3 and put it in but i wasnt sure if all my running gear, as its a s pack i heard it had the same gear box a the VY SS and same tail shaft, i know diff will need to be changed, can someone clear it up for me??? or will it just be easier to put in a supercharger or turbo?

Sell it and buy a V8. Itll cost you heaps less.

i agree if you want a v8 just trade it in and buy one, old days conversion 6 to 8 was easy now just to many thing, ie. hq 6 you could use the original engine bay harness for a v8.
think about it harness computers powersteer hoses a/c hoses and pipes, eve

yer i thought all that would needed to be done so i just thought see if anyone alse had an idea, yer might just wait till next yr and pick my self up a clubby, cheers all

Also probably better for insurance purposes as it will be a modified vehicle if it was originally a 6cyl.
