What BundyBlueDog means from my understanding is the inner guards have to be removed ( unpicked means the spot welds drilled out ) so the pressing machine can get to the section were the guards will have the GTS flutes pressed in , after that the inner gu |

The guy that does these gave me his business card at the recent Monaro Nationals . He seemed a nice enough bloke . Yeah, I googled "Coonabarabran Paint and Panel" and came up with the same details , called the number but they are obviously on Xmas holidays , they will be busy boys in the New year by the looks of things ! |

I have a pair of weld in flutes plus about 4 sets of guards ,some original GTS guards that some ****er flared and bogged up , the weld in flutes from who ever dont (will never) look the same , To be honest any genuine Monaro fan will pick up a fake set o |

Unpicking is just how ITCH said and is time consuming but the way to go. i had a set of genuine flutes from origanal guards which i sold the rare spares are diferant and they dont follow the guard contour and the flutes look a bit off. |

I see.
I saw the hell bidding war on evil bay recently for a a set recently. A bloke had restored an original set to the stage where they were ready for painting. They looked immaculate. I didnt see the final price but at one stage they were about equal |

I would like to thank all ppl that helped me in the search and info for guards , found a good old set on the coast here they need work , but so do we all ;).
