Hi,
Besides a HK/T/G unit, are there any other factory v8 diffs that will fit into a HK without modification, ie HQ / HZ etc?
Thanks
Matt

68/69 Camaro. Just have to attach the HK-HG hangers. Possibly not even that (I have to measure one up one day as I want a 12 bolt for my HK).

VB-VK 10 bolt and VL V8 and turbo Borg Warner is about 25mm narrower both sides. Also needs brackets.

apparently the 12 bolt were an option on 81837 cars only.

i have a 12 bolt diff drum to drum out of a pontiac.(1590mm wide)
needs to be shortened 40 mm either side to fit under HK. $500.

The all the gears and LSD centres are still available for the
Old holdens brought on the spot, quick decision, cash paid.

Yes, optional on HK 1837 and HT 1837 manual only. Ratios 3.55 and up. Impossible to find. I have seen one only ever, and know of one car that had one from new (Norm Beecheys HT). Problem with the 12 bolt is they are a bastard of a bearing that wears out t
