Having a problem lining up rear mount on a HG ute.Engine mounts are new and correct sides fitted.also a new hadfield g/box x/member,Extension housing hits on the top LHS bolt on the floor brace.Its possible to move to the right but the lower g/box mount is then off centre.I have had the front crossmember rebuilt with all new bushes and pads etc,is it possible it can be misaligned??I was to understand V8 and 6 front crossmembers are the same,is this correct?? is it possible th350 trans are different in length?? Also the drag link hits the oil pan on the LHS,please help!!!

do you have your engine mount adaptors on the right side at the front? the taller one is for the r.h side from memory. pete.

Hitting the floor with the box is normal.
Get a ball peen hammer and massage it up a bit. It does not need much to clear.
Also the drag link problem is the same as my car was before I lifted up the gear box by doing the above.

thanks team g,i have learnt there is different lengths in th 350s,mine is a direct import,massage is possible,also i have a thicker rear mont for that extra clearance,cheers mate
