Hi All, Does anyone know if HZs / WBs with the buckskin trim (63) had a tan (67) dashpad/glovebox/lower dash etc or were they a colour of their own. The dashes in buckskin vehicles isnt obviously the light buckskin colour but is it tan or a shade or two lighter? I know the column and wheel is darker than the trim/console/door trims etc but still not as dark as tan.
I've found that the WB Oyster is definitely a colour of its own with no tan components.
Any help much appreciated. Rhys

Hi Jason,
Thanks for the info - the non-insert buckskin on the HZ GTS sounds like the same combination of seats/dash/glovebox as the WB Kingswoods with trim 63V.
If you wouldnt mind emailing me those pictures that would be great, thanks.

My HZ Sandman which is 63V trim as well seems to have a darker brown on the dash pad and glove box compared to the posted pic (although it may just be the photo).
Any more pics of standard 63V trim would be appreciated.

Hi Guys. The dashpad with the grain (regardless of colour) was fitted to all HZ models at introduction. In late 1978, Commodore type trim materials were introduced to replace the grain finish, across all HZ models. The Commodore material has the fine s Edited by user Wednesday, 14 January 2009 1:01:02 AM(UTC)

That glovebox is out of an early HZ, it has the early type lock barrel.
These changed to the black plastic style for ADR25A in early 1978.

Thanks for all the information guys, Ive learnt a lot!
Holden sure did like offering heaps of different colour combinations in the 70s and 80s.
