I have been searching for doors for my pano as the originals fell apart with cancer when removed.Unsalvageable. In my hunt i have been informed that replacement doors need to come of another pano. Can any tell me if this so???? I do know that they are hard to come by.

nah someone telling you porky pies there mate
front doors for a hq are all the same no matter what body style,minor differences on later
bodys ie hj-z/wb but still fit up
yeah hard to find good ones but still out there and rare spares used/.might stil |

very helpful gents. this was my biggest worry.already done disc alround , power steer and 304 conversion so am down to the cosmetics. 8yrs and still goin!!!

HJ and later doors are better as they have a guide at the front of the window where a HQ one doesnt. If your driving fast with HQ doors, theres a fair chance that you wont be able to wind up the windows until you slow down a bit. Ive had a couple like thi

Some of the early vans and utes like FB and EK had different window frames to the sedans they were rounded off instead of square.

Hqvanman ,hq doors are light and I fitted wb statesman doors to my hq van they are heavy but with 14yrs less wear on them its worth it ,also have chrome around the windows looks great..!
