Been talking to a few people of late about some things we sould like to see for the coupes. Here's a short list, maybe Rare Spares might like to think about making them. Anyone else got any more requests?
XA to XC remote mirror parts including the cables, mirror, lock nuts and toggle.
The bommerangs ( that's the chrome pig metal that sits in the back corner of the coupe side glass )
Gutter stainless for the sedans and coupes.
GT fuel caps. Rare spares used to stock repo ones years ago. Any reason why they can't be made again?
Coupe wiper arms. They were stirctly coupe only and most are now worn out.

Sorry for late reply I have been on holidays I will add the mirrors and the boomerangs to our wish list. The tooling for the fuel cap has gone but I will add it to the list as well. Stainless mouldings are very had to make and you need big quantities and I am not sure that they would be viable, the wiper are in the same boat but I will added them to our wish list

Hello Les, another one to the wish list would be the (rear) wheel arch coupe trims, that Paul may have forgoten to mention, I guess as you already know the XA XB trims are one of the rarest items for those cars.
Some were sold on Ebay a couple of weeks ago with many bidders and the sellers must of been laughing after the auction.
What is your opinion? have these parts ever been considered?

Dont mention TRIMS!!! Im still dirty that my full set got sent to the scrap metal yard when my panel beater was forced to close shop. That was only 20 years ago but Im hoping to get over it in time. message to the wise. Never ever leave anything of value with someone else for safe keeping. Ill also include a GT bonnet, pair of coupe front seats and a spare 351 to that list. :(

If someone will make wheel arch trims for coupes, I can assure you that I will buy a set PLUS line up 9-10 more customers.
We also need XA and XB grills. 35yr old plastic is extremely hard to piece back together after it has broken several times in the same location.
We also need dashs. The smooth XA dash pieces are hard to find and how many of us swiss cheesed dashes that are more an eye sore than a dash?

Id be keen to see some fuel sender units for ZD Fairlanes. Ive been waiting for a new one since February and my local Rare Spares outlet keep telling me that theyre "arriving soon". Do you have any idea when they are likely to get here?

We have just approved and ordered the new XW-XY sender units with fully tested and calibrated resistors.We would need to check if yours is the same or look at getting a sample for checking.If you have a spare one then you can send it to us for our checking.

You can get repo honeycomb or its a matter of fighting for the original stff on ebay when it shows up.
