Hi, Im restoring my Hk 186s coupe and would like to know should it be resprayed in 2k or acrylic paint for future value, its in original condition and I would like to keep it that way. Rgds

you better do it in acrylic,and just dust it on as GM did,and make sure the panel fit isnt perfect either, god help you if you dont, all the purists here will crucify you, especially if it is warwick yellow.

At this point no one has been disadvantaged for using 2 pack instead of acrylic, however some marques do insists on it.
The obvious way to go these days is 2 pack as many will not even paint with acrylic, finish will last longer also, so saving on pain

Thanks very much for the reply that helped a lot is the black stripes painted in gloss or or flat.
Also I have read in car point the asking price of these cars, are the owners getting that kind of money for them.

Stripes are Warrigal Black.
As for price, as these caars are a luxury item their value is hard to nail down.
