Im a 173 lover myself, but you cant beat those extra cubes of grunt that a 202 provides. No shame at all having a small motor. Its still a Q. |

Its not the size its what you do with it... so they tell me! I did this to my old HQ a few years ago but after I painted, cleaned and acid washed everything I taped up the wires,linkages and anything I didnt want semi gloss black and sprayed (can)the whol

that is a really nice engine mate, im a fan of the 202s, the carbs look great and the engine bsay is nice and tidy, obviously alot of time and effort gone into it, well done
if it wasnt for the last minute id get nothing done

The bay itself has just had a quick tidy, but its been a fair journey to get the motor to that stage. Two full rebuilds in quick succession (decided i wanted it bigger and better than at first) and all the usual gremlins |

Its a good feeling when you know you have done it yourself, until it breaks then you cant blame anyone else. That bit sucks. Good to see someone sticking with what they got and making the best of it. You dont need a chev or a 355 to have a bit of fun and

People often forget that while the v-8s get the limelight it was actually the sixes 202, 186 etc that did most of the hard graft back then The taxi that took you home after a few too many... a six The NRMA guy that rescued you when you broke down ..a s

I like the 202 because I never have the sides on the tonner and if the grocceries dont fit in the cab I can just chuck them in the enginebay + have the meat cooked by the time I get home! ; p
