Hi Guys,

Just have a quick query, I am in the process of buying a WB 253 1 tonner on dual fuel. I am just wondering is it okay to run the V8 on unleaded or should it be run on premium and should i use the leaded additive?

Silly questions I know, but just want to be sure.

The premium 98+ will suit the engine better because its octane rating is closer to that of leaded petrol, if the compression ratio is lower it would run better on 91 or 95 octane.

U can get ur heads rebuilt to suit LPG/unleaded fuel. A simple procedure for any good machine shop. MIne cost around $800.00 with new exh seats, valves, valve guides and seals. You have to be aware that running old heads, the metal work gets tired and fla
