HAVE A SET OF LH DOOR BELT STRIPS (wINDOW WEATHER SEALS )FOR AN LH TORANA FROM RARE SPARES,JUST WENT TO FIT THEM AND IT LOOKS LIKE AFTER FITMENT THE RUBBER SEAL WONT EVEN TOUCH THE WINDOW.IT LOOKS LIKE THERE WILL BE ABOUT A 1-2MM GAP.HAS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM WITH A RARE SPARES PART.I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO WITH AN EH HOLDEN DOOR BELT STRIP.
THE NEW STRIP IS APPROXIMATELY 10.5mm WIDE

Yeah mate i found the same problem with my lx on one of the windows,i was a bit anoyed but its not a problem when the window is wound up because the botom window rail seals on it and when the window is down it the seal dosent realy mater.

I have also found that these door belts sit lower then the originals and dont sit over the rolled edge of the door and i have had to trim them a little to fit them (not sure if that is supposed to be required)
