Im restoring a HR which has a m20 4 speed gear box, I was told that there is no reversing light switch to connect to, has anyone encountered this an has a solution.

if the HR has a 4 speed from factory it would be an Opel
box and not generally referred to as a M20
there is a reverse light switch fitted to both those boxes
though and is mounted on the extention housing where the
reverse gear linkage fits on the

i have a lx with an opel with a reverse light switch.it dont work every time but its their.
