I need to remove the ignition from the dash and guess the trick is to unscrew the ign barrel a few turns while inserting something in the pin hole in the front, thats stuck too any ideas??

Iam chasing left rear passenger door trim and rear right top window trim if any one has at the right price.its for my 16year old its his first car.
My older boy has done up HJ, now completing resto on EK and building 42 chev hotrod (got to keepem busy)

From memory, you have to insert the key, then insert a pin in the small hole.
The barrel assy should pull out then and let you unscrew the collar.

Its been a while though.

I am sure you also have to have the key in the ACC position to remove.

darryl is correct...if you cant get it to accessory position see my reply in the hktg ignition removal thread..
