Looking on ebay and there is a Lina Mint HQ 350 GTS Coupe on there that is at $61,000, hasnt met reserve and has just under 5 days to go. A guy has posted up a comment saying that he has phoned around and he reckons the car is worth $110,000 as it is!!!! The guy that is selling it reckons that 4 other people have said the same!!
Fair enough the car seems basically complete and mostly original but needing full resto!? $110,000 as is!!??

Is this a dream? They have to be kidding arent they? I know its what people are prepared to pay for it but thats ridiculous. Does Redbook look at this stuff?

I tend to agree with you, but its a genuine manual HQ 1837. Wouldnt be many left. I personally would value it higher if it was black, white or yellow but that colour is very popular to others. $75k is closer to the mark in my opinion, but well see what it

No idea. Market is funny on cars at the moment. Yours is different though due to other factors.

Even though I still think they are the best looking coupe holden made,I have always said these cars are soft always will be soft with collectors and "flippers". Over the years I have had the opportunity to buy 6-7 HQ 350 cars at realistic prices and haven

You are probably right, but there are people out there with lots of money to spend on rare, premium stuff especially survivors like that one. And $62,500 isnt that far from $75,000! Jen Hawkins or not (you can keep Suzie).

Haha, I was thinking Suzie and Jen may not really like these old clunkers anyway, so back to square 1, $75k, but has to be "pristine" for that much now..especially with no gals with it now

As if youd restore it. If you want to restore one buy a wreck. The reason there arent any around like this is cause all the rich boys are restoration happy andwant to show everyone how much money they can spend to make it look like new again.
