Well there you go!!! Just watched the end of the auction. Reserve was set at $70K and it sold for $70,050. I would have been surprised if it had hit $100K but like everyone has said the market is all over the place at the moment.

Tags do match, which is one reason why its pulling good money. Body number has no correlation to chassis number on any HQ from any plant. If they do its a fluke. Even the first HQ chassis number from Dandenong would be unlikely to have BODY number 1M. Bod Edited by user Tuesday, 24 March 2009 3:16:00 AM(UTC)

This is why I asked because I was going through some of the tag pics I had collected and putting them into a dB. I know the chassis/body numbers were never matching, but were within a couple of hundred, not thousands in this case especially so early. My o |

A lot of people would have seen this car. It is a sensational, faultless car we wreck and it would be very close to the money. Maybe not an 81837 but the time and effort gone in would be priceless

Yep Classic thats correct, a car is worth what someone is prepared to pay to get the car they want. In the case of that green HQ 350 on ebay, as we wreck says we may not have not seen the last of it yet. There was a very nice turnkey and go rare March gr

i saw that 28k 71 350....i think you will find that was a dodgy add..if that 71 350 manual has really sold it was a decent buy for a very rare car....what everyone here seems to forget is that in the 80s these cars were worth absolutely stuff all...hq 350 |
