if you can find the two pipes at the firewall in and out take the hoses off and flush it out with the garden hose, make sure you have water flow through it, check your thermostat is not stuck open, may not heat up enough to make it work, make sure heater

When i got my torana the heater hoses were and still are disconected, posibly because it leaks.Wanting to check it without filling up my car with water,Do you think if i used compressed air i would hear a leak or wud i run the risk of blowing it apart lol,

LX- your best bet, is remove the outer heaterbox, and take the core out and plug the hose onto it. did that with mine and found 3 fins were oozing.. put some silicone on.. and no leak :P
cheers
