Hi all I,ve been checking out the stroker kts on ebay from pro comp and they seem to be of a reasonable price for someone on a budget.Has anyone had any experience with these kits Good and Bad. Would like to hear some feedback before thinking about buying one. Cheers Stuie

I have heard lots of nasty things about them, but have also heard some good. Best off talking to a machine shop that has tried the stuff.

I have spent alot of time looking at various combos,from pro comp i would use the pistons and the rods but not the crank and all of it only in a street car.I will go on to say that i have come to this conclusion by reading alot of topics on all sorts of f |

Thanks for the feedback.I had heard a few mixed opinions as well.The car isnt a daily driver and I would be lucky to get in and drive it once every 2 months at the moment sad I know.It will see the strip on the rare occasion and the rest will be just crui

From alot of research and some posts on here they are a bastard to balance which means they take alot of metal off the counterweights thus i and many others believe it weakens them,but as Byron said ask your engine builder what he thinks.I still WOULD use |

Thanks for that jim.I have decided to dealith Pro stroke who deal with the come and scat stuff so I thinks I should be pretty safe there. Cheers Stuie

You made the right choice, clint at prostroke is an absolute professional and you will have no problem with his kit. Thanks for that HJ I read something on aussie v8 about that legal thing which made me a little wary from the start.If they sold quality kits in the first place then they wouldnt have to worry about all the negative talk which they receive on all the forum
