I can remember plastic batteries with glass marbles in them around 1973-4 but cant find good pictures of the type of battery I am looking

It was the correct "Orange " and "White" Lucas type you are talking about . I have seen them in XU1 Toranas also except they were a smaller battery of course. Now if the HQ had a plastic battery at release (mid 71), did the 1971 HGs also have plastic batteries as opposed to the hard rubber types? Ma

It eventually died but I kept it. Its the same post pattern as a Holden. I think its a Globe or Nasco (will look tomorrow). I kept it just in case its correct for a late 60s Monaro. _
