All looks OK except either the chassis has been changed or the tags don't belong to the body. I replied to your email - didn't it get though? You can't tell from the tags if its a Sandman or not - but cortesy light switches in the door frames and headlini

Thanks Byron.. no email yet ??tags are definitely off this body , it has the rail for headlinig perfectly fitted..light switches red from factory
308 ..4 speed 3.36 rear(none of them here)chassis must have been changed.
had gts dash as i found gauge sti

By courtesy light switch I mean for the front doors, not the tailgate. One of the pictures you sent had one fitted for the tailgate.

Hi Byron...yes its got them too..i think it is a sandman as the tags havent been removed before ..but your right about the chassis ,thats the part i couldnt figure out because to me it looks like its never been removed? did you get those pictures of the b

chassis is defently not the original i would think. quite possible sometime in 76 or 77 maybe it was in a prang and they had a hx chassis around...... done properly you shouldnt be able to tell if its been a chassis change.

everything sugests sandman. the high gvw as byron said is rare. but they where produced. Not haveing the original chassis is a shame. doesnt make it as collectable. you will have many people tell you it is not a sandman. but by the looks they will n

This HJ van could easily be mistaken for a Sandman as it has a lot of Sandman features.
