I have a small beddy, I think is called a "J" series originally 173 with aussie 3 spd about 1976 model I am going to upgrade to EFI 202 but want to change the brakes and diff to HQ, a common convervion I believe, my question is with the front cross member and disks what changes are needed? just stub axles or wishbones as well or any other mods any one done this or know about the conversion?

I thought that the only Bedford to run a Holden 6-cyl engine & trans was the CF Bedford van. There was a cab/chassis version of it made, but it began life as a forward control van.
The E & M series Bedfords also used Holden engines but these were V8 Bl |

your proberly right dr terry as the front is the same as vans but diff chassis I think and has duel rear wheel axle, there was a van with duel wheels as well but dont if the same thanks guys will follow up those sites
