Yes, Yes I know another bloody Monaro number question.
I have come across this HX four door Monaro. The car is in a customers shed, stripped into a million bits but it looks like its all there.
The guy who has it swears an original Monaro four door.
Only thing I am not really sure on is the colour. As is sits Its black with metallic gold on the bonnet etc instead of the black outs. Looks bloody terrible. So I guess I would change that if I keep it.
Got some numbers off it as follows.
Paint 15991
Trim 2214 18X
Engine L31
Trans M41
Axel GU7
Engine NO is 11QT XXXXXX
There is also a body number that is 03xxx S
Its got theses other numbers too, C60 I think and A31.
Any help and what you think the car is worth would be a good. It going cheap so I think I will grab it for the bits alone anyway, maybe flog em off.

2214 is Tuxedo black, so that would make it more valuable than some others. 18X is slate black vinyl, so black/black - pretty cool, but as you say leave off the gold crap. Being a TH400 car makes it more durable too. So if the Model is WQ69 then its a Mon |

Was reading in the monaro facts that black cars had gold stripe metalic used on the raised centre pressing part of the bonnet.
Maybe you have found a real gem there....

The way I see it Petaus is the car was already gone but now is found in a million bits. If I choose to wreak it out thats my choice.

Itll start with QT. For HX itll be between QT725xxx and QT895xxx approx. VIN and chassis numbers will narrow it down heaps.

C60 = air conditioning and A31 is power windows.
These are not normally on the tags though, where did you see these numbers?
