Hi Guys,

I have been offered a complete set of Street Machine magazines from Van Wheels through to the end of 2005 including all the Specials they produced.

Anybody have any idea what would be a fair price to pay?

I dont want to rip the guy off or pay through the nose!

I know their worth whatever I am prepared to pay but I wouldn't have a clue where to start!

Cheers,
Allan

most are probably worth 50cent each, van wheels maybe a couple of dollars ea , collectables are the issue #1 books as these seem the hardest to get.
quite a few are sold at swapmeets for 50c-2.00

Up until recently you had to pay $7 for a Street Machine back issue, brand new through the publisher, but thats all over now, id say due to a lack of stock.

If its a great collection and you really want it, surely youd throw a couple of hundred at it,

My thoughts exactly!

I had the same collection years ago and lost the lot through a flood so it is something I have been looking to replace if at all possible.

It was something I bought religiously every month from about the age of 16 until the late

I would say that a complete set would have to be worth $400 to $500 at least.

I have every issue back to 1982 plus one or two Van Wheels issues and if I were offered $500 for the lot I would probably decline.
