For example, were sandmans lower than non-sandmans?
Were monaros lower than non-monaros?

Honestly, who would know the answer to this.

Early Holdens with leaf spring rear had the drivers side rear leaves set 3/4" higher to acommodate driver load weight.

There were no differences in suspension between Sandman & non-Sandman. The Sandman was basically an appearance package, with the only mandatory mechanical change being the floor shift.
