i am thinking of selling the running gear from my ht ute,it is i believe originally from a hk, great engine(eng/box fully rebuilt approx 8 years ago and has done around 7000 miles) with a small cam and g/box is good,i would like to sell it as a complete concern fan to tailshaft with all throttle linkages, kick down etc( t/bar but not console or i would have all the linkages etc for a colomn change i think), it presently has a hk 4 barrel manifold and carby but i still have the original 2 barrel carb and manifold( i do not have either original air cleaners),it can be tested as its in my ute, what would this be worth?

To the right person alot but you would want to make sure its a Monaro one you will need to post engine and casting nos as the motor couldve been out of a chev. Hard to say value but somewhere between 1500 and 3 k and also depends on the right buyer could

If its a HK 307 it could be pre Monaro. Still worth good bucks but not quite as much. As said above post up the engine number first 3 digits after the 307 and leave xs for the next two.

Looking at the engine (from engine bay) back of the block straight down from the right side rocker cover ,under the head . Can be a bit tricky to read so grab a torch and because you are looking from the front of the motor you will be reading the cast num

Its from a Pagewood built HT. Anything but a Brougham. Could easily be from a HT GTS. you should get decent money for it on Ebay. Id be interested in the inlet manifold and carby if the buyer doesnt want it. Id probably have an original 307 inlet and carb
