Have a look at the nice HQ Sandman on Ebay.

Seems cheap if its as good as it looks but who knows where reserve is.

I agree that its close to the most desirable Sandman. For me being a ute or being a HJ with TH400 would make it more valuable, but to others it has to be a van. However remember that before all this world financial crisis bull$hit started an original HQ S

If theres one thing Ive learnt about values of "muscle" cars & their siblings, is that it doesnt matter how rare or unique a car is, if its not one of the iconic models (ie in HQ it would be a GTS V8, with 350 being the king, or in the case of say a VK HD

I agree with commodorenut to a degree if you want a Monaro then obviously 81837 is king and the rest fall behind this. Sandmans weather ute or van I dont believe will ever have the same value as an 81837 but they appeal to a different market. Ive owned an

I would hate to rain on everyones parade but $25,000 is the first bid price with areserve on top of that....so I guessing that the owner wants substantially more than $25K

whether he gets it or not... we will have to wait and see...

if it was 25k buy it now i would almost buy it and sell mine which still has to be restored,also a chrome yellow 308 4 speed hq sandman....just one thing stops me....and that is the fact that my van is a brisbane built with xx7 so it can never be argued a

Cheap at that price. Having just restored a Sandman I can tell you it aint cheap. However the satisfaction in being responsible for the resto is very satisfying at the end. I could have bought a restored model for a cheaper price than the end figure bu
