Hey all

Just wondering what is interchangable or not between HQ sedan and HQ 2door Coupe?

Also are the doors interchangable on HQ-HX-HJ-HZ and are they very hard to find??

Any Info apreciated.

If youre referring to body panels, the only interchangeable parts are forward of the firewall, as well as the rear bumper & boot lid.

All the doors on 4-door sedans (except WB rear) will interchange. The internal hardware & glass on HQ fronts is diffe

Whoops I meant doors for coupes not sedans. (sorry)

As Ive got a HQ Coupe rolling shell in the pipelines just wondering what sedan parts I can use on it.

HQ, HJ & HX coupe doors are all interchangeable, there is no HZ coupe.

as the good doctor said... for a coupe firewall forward is all the same,bootlid and rear bar,chassis,fuel tank,diff and diff arms,dash pad,steer column,heater etc,door hinges,outer door handles,inner handles, and the lower front screen mouldings....everyt

For the interior, console, carpet, dash area, steering column and wheel, front armrests, lock knobs, winders, door handles, kick panels are the only interchangeable components.

Seats (front and rear), door trims, rear armrests, hoodlining, parcel shelf

Warrens reading from the parts book again. Front seats are interchangable. They only difference is Coupe seats have to have a realease on the recliner to fold the bucket forward so people in the rear can get out. On early chrome recliners they are all the

Still yet to pick the shell up.

Just trying to get a list of sedan bits I can use for now.

Is HQ Coupe stuff hard to find or consideraly easier than K-T-G series?

Not reading from the parts book, but yes Terry the early HK Buckets, although same to look at were lower in the squab for coupe, assumes the same for HQ, but then you learn something new every day. If they were the same and I was reading from the parts bo
