Hi all,

I have purchased a HZ GTS external mirror from Rare Spares and the body of the mirror has a standard black finish. I would like to paint it body colour but I cant work out how to dissassemble the mirror without breaking it.

Does anyone know how to take this type of mirror apart without any damage?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Kind regards.

on other cars I have removed the mirror by using a hot air gun but you have to be careful of other plastic bits, overheating them could be disastrous, but just a little too warm for the hand might be enough without damage.
