hey all, my leccy window has decided to kark it on me, the thing is, it goes down, but not up..? i swapped a switch over from another door and it didn't work so that cancel's out the switch. i also bought then returnd a new motor setup and that didnt help either.
would anyone know where else i can look for problems? or where i could find a wiring diagram ..??

Any help much appreciated

Had same problem with my XR8 as well.Try another switch as they are buggers of things.The other one you tried could have been crook as well.I had to buy a new one as all the 2nd hand ones i tried were stuffed.Be seated when you price a new one though!!!

If they are anything like EA EB ED switches then spent about 10 minutes going over all of the solder joints on the back of yours and it should work as good as new again.

Otherwise can you jump start the window? there should be three wires on the back

I got it wrong there should be 6 spades on the switch. The middle two would be + and - in and the other four let the + and - out in two different polarities for up and down.

mate i have an auIII with the same issue i sprayed some contact cleaner in the sockett and some CRC into the actual switch and seemed to have fixed it
