i was flicking through my workshop manual for ef fairmont and noticed the specified oil grade is sg/ce or sg/cd. out of curiosity i went down to repco to try and find this grade of oil nothing there. does anyone know what oil this is?

yeah interesting read, not much more than i already new being a fitter. my revised question is who makes the sg/ce-cd engine oil, where can i find it? have looked but with no success.

i think sg/ce grade oils are obsolete. got boost?

that is quite rare. you can google it to mind much information and about price comparison, there is something like ebay for us
