I am assembling a display of Warwick Yellow Monaros and Silverfox XWGTs as an appreciation of the race driving carreer of Bruce McPhee for the 2009 Musclecar Masters at Eastern Creek Raceway.

As you know 2009 marks the 40th anniversary of the Falcon GTHO, Bruce's 2nd place finish (with co-driver Barry Mullholland) a year after his victory in a Warwick Yellow Monaro (both achievements as a privateer as the factory teams were becoming most dominant!), the release of the upgraded HT "350" Monaro and so on. I see the Musclecar Masters as a fantastic venue for our contribution to this anniversary. To have any number of Warwick Yellow Monaros and Silverfox GTs together on display is a rare event and to have them on display at this event will be special.

As of today I have I have half a dozen cars including my own available for the display.

I have located the 46D Silver Fox XW GTHO which Bruce drove to second place in 1969. It is currently in the final stages of a rotisserie restoration. The owners are very committed to completing the car and bringing it to the event.

I have made an approach to the Bathurst Motor Museum inviting them to add their 13D Warwick Yellow Bruce McPhee tribute car to the display. I have had a good response and am confident that this car will be available.

I have had dialogue with Phil Harrison, Event Organiser regarding this and we have his support.

I am hoping to get as many as ten of each model (doesn't matter if the Monaros are not 'Bathurst" or the GTs not "Hos") but they do have to be Warwick Yellow or Silverfox.

I would like to find some more cars for the display.

Can you help?

Do you own or know anyone with a Warwick Yellow Monaro or Silverfox XWGT (186/307 GTS, GTs. Replicas OK as long as they are correct).
Must be in good shape.

If so please contact me.

Any leads or info info would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Nick Moran.

Hi
Just an update on the display. I have made good progress and now have five Silverfox XWGTs and One Monaro confirmed.
I have to admit I thought that the Silverfox Falcons would be harder to find. So I again ask, if you own or know of a Silverfox GT/ W

Hi
We now have six Silverfox XWGTs and two Warwick Yellow Monaros for Sunday.
Hope you all enjoy our little display at the masters and thanks to all who have helped with it.

Cheers
Nick Moran.
