The Londonderry Rural Fire Brigade is Rodding up its open day on the 26th of September with the help of the Blue Mountains & Macquarie towns Hotrod Clubs The day is open to anything with an engine or wheels with the preference for Hot rod and custom vehicles, but all said and done we dont mind if you bring along the kids pushy.
Theres no actual judged classes but there will be a few awards based on the entrants the fireys think are most out standing.
The plan is for a real casual event, with plenty to keep the whole family occupied, there will be Fire fighting demonstrations, the kids (big & small) can have a look all over the trucks play with hoses, the members will be only to happy to talk to you about every thing to do with the brigade and the RFS in general, also this is the perfect time to ask any questions you have about joining the RFS or preparing your home for the upcoming fire season.
In addition to this we will be bringing back the Londonderry community markets these have every thing from brick-a-brac to Nanas home made cakes and biscuits throw in some cool cars and it ticks every box for pretty much every body.
If people would like a market stall or trade stall please call Mike for more info on 0414794112
