i have had my fmx re conditioned and now only when it it cold it will not engage reverse,only when warmed up after about 4 minutes ,it will engage forward 1st and 2nd ok but will not go into 3rd at all until about 4 kilometres, when hot, i use Castrol "TQF" oil which I thought was recommended---any suggestions will be appreciated- thanks ned351

Silly question, have you checked your oil level? Can't remember if they checked are hot and running?
If it is anything like my XA coupe (C4 auto) she does not like to go anywhere before 4 minutes of warming the engine up anyway!

Ned. is the vacuum hose connected from the manifold to the gearbox? If it isn't she wont change into top too well.

Aftermarket dipstick and tube??????? I know that there are 2 different length dipsticks and tubes for FMX boxes, but I would also query the correctness of an aftermarket jobby too! When it comes time to change the oil, I would double check the capacity wh
