Hello

After some info of how much a XB GS sedan is worth.I am trying to get more info on this from the lady who has recieved this car.

All she can tell me is it was her dads and he bought it brand new and has been sitting in her dads old shop for at least the last 10 years in country WA.I will try and get some pics as soon as i can.

Colour is burnt orange with black on the bonnet with a V8 4 speed.

Any help would be great as she might sell it

Yes its a Hawker Typhoon,my grandfather took the pic in 1943 as he was a engineer at napier who built the sabre twin crank 24 piston H engine rated at 3000hp.

Mate, it sounds more like a GT! Burnt orange is a very nice colour.
Good luck pursuing it, Sounds like a great investment.

If it's factory painted bumpers I'm thinking GT too. Go have a look if she will let you and see if it has JG33 on the compliance plate. If it's a GT it's a whole new ball game. And burnt orange is a very desirable colour. No point in counting the chic

Just to add to the confusion early XB GTs came out with toploader 4 speeds while later XBs had the borgy 4 speed box. Some early XB GTs also had the 4V heads fitted. The 4V toploader GTs are worth quite a bit more than the others. That would be a nice sh

I'm no Ford expert (obviously!) but had a look at an XB GS, 302 and 4 speed with a mate about 5 years ago. Was green with a gold stripe and in absolutely mint condition, one owner, garaged, no rust, barely driven etc etc and the daughters of the owner who
