Help please, i washed the engine of my ute with soapy water and just rinsed it off with the water pressure out of the hose, the next day when i started it, it was chugging like one of the cylinders wasnt firing. this was over a week ago and it hasnt Dried out. i did the leads with CRC, and checked most of the electrical connecters on the motor, i couldnt get at the distributor cap as it is under the intake manifold..is this typical of this model? any one got any ideas please?

sounds like the ecu need to be reset, this needs to be done any time the battery goes flat or is removed. You may have made it angry with the soap and water. Check out the link for the procedure.
