A Vacationer is just a package of a few options, doesn't really make that much difference today. It is what the thread title says, and as Dr Terry says, a 6cyl HQ Kingswood sedan. If it is in good condition worth having. What is its TRIM line off the body plate? |

Your heading quotes 1971. What is the compliance date (off the ADR plate).
The first Holden Vacationers weren't built until Oct 1972.
As HK1837 has said the trim number will tell us whether it is a Vacationer or not.

That is Olive Green with Flax vinyl trim which I think is normal HQ Kingswood. The PSN and engine number place it as 8/1971 so it is still a 1971 HQ (1972 HQ started 9/71). Too early to be a Vacationer as Dr Terry says unless it was a styling car that was sold off via dealer tender. If it was it'll show up as a 000M dealer in the Service/Warranty records. |
