Throttle controllers ? electronic throttle is what you are on about ?
On the current Colorado they have a dumb stupid moronic system that when you change up a gear it's like the throttle does not open until a few second after you hit it, it's bloody annoying and a real bastard to drive like that.
I think it's set up like that so you don't over rev the engine and blow the bastard up, because they are so highly tuned.
I can't stand the bloody thing it's like having the new age Political Correct low life grubs interfering in your life, trying to drag every one down to their level of moronic filthy grubby Nazi like stupidity. I wont blow the engine up, but I know that a stupid dumb foolish moron could and that's why it's their like so, I guess.
Also I have experienced the electronic throttle control systems can or do not open to exactly what you foot is doing as with a cable, the bastards can open more than what you give it at times and if you hit the throttle fast but only half or 3/4 the bastard will open fully kicking the auto back a gear lower that what you wanted, had that with the Aurion and the VF commodore V6, it's like oh f off ! when it happens, the wife looks at you thinking what are you doing and a cop would thing your being a smart arse for sure, I f ing hate it.
Some claim it can open the throttle faster that a cable, bullshit ! must have a gammy cable if that was the case, as fast as your foot goes down that it, the cable does not stretch at all.
