i cant remember were i saw it but there is some one doing radio restorations & repairs .if i remember correctly they also done am /fm conversions on them retaining the original external look while replacing the internals with the modern day circut anyone know a number or name i could get hold of who does this sort of thing. thanks ahead

Im in the same boat as I want to have my cassette player repaired because its started running slow, I have even asked if new cassette player are available and was told no, not on there own but yes if I buy a 10 stack CD player combo what ever that means.

fred if your player is running slow it might be belt driven and the belt is slipping
