Hi Guys.
One for the Ford gurus.
Can somebody out there tell me where the air cond temperature control sits on the dashboard of an XW/XY GS 6-cyl with factory air.
AFAIK the temp control for XW/XY V8 fits into the same hole as where the choke control would normally sit. With V8s, there is a blank in that spot with a V8 logo, so Ford put it there. For 6-cyl cars (which have a manual choke) the temp control sits below the row of warning lights, so it sits just to the left of the wiper switch, which is normally vacant.
In 6-cyl XW/XY Falcons with a GS pack fitted, the choke hole is already used up & there is no room below the gauges for a control to fit, so where does to sit ?
