Im interested to know what the id plate thing is on this hz gts. http://www.trademe.co.nz...n/auction-159172108.htm
did new zealand cars still get all the id plates? what plants built them? I gather they would have a body plate and vin plate? but maybe a diferent compliance. cheers jason |

its the equivalent to an engineering certificate in nsw or a mod plate in qld...ive only ever seen a hg kiwi car and it only had the small plate which actually said gm new zealand..

The low volume cert plate is for homebuilt or modified vehicles, and indicates that an approved certifier has checked the car and the modifications made are ok for NZ roads. There are certain mods which can be made without certification (replacing engine |

I think it was a 308 hence the T on the vin tag because they never released a 350 chev in a hz , this tag is to prove its been thru a rego/inspection centre...(i think) |
