The easy way is to follow the instructions...much harder to sit down and nut it out.

It has to go inline with the B+ wire from the alternator and also the power wire from the starter motor to the rest of the loom.

All I can suggest is draw it on pap

Be very careful with amp gauge. It has to carry the full current of the car's load, so be sure to a) use serious enough wire and b) make sure is well insulated.

If you do not have an ammeter it is wired as follows:

Alternator to battery
Starter motor to fuse box

For ammeter, it goes alternator to + of ammeter and fuse box
From - of ammeter to starter motor

Considering i have a $600 fluke clamp on meter that is capable of having 600amps running through it, i dont think a car is a problem! I use it on multi-stage 3 phase air con compressors, with no problem! Simple spring loaded clip on, dont have to touch an

The size cable that you need is the exact same size as the alternator to battery, this is the size that GM-H used on them new.

The cable from the starter to the fuse box is also the same size originally, but if you want to go bigger that would be fine.
