benny I reckon you wrote that number down and placed it in a spot you'll always remember where to find it only to find out, after tearing the place apart, that it's nowhere to be found. You'll probably find it in a couple of years time while looking for something else. happens around here all the time mate.

Hello Benny.
Dean Prodger is highly capable and can make just about any HKTG panel. I know him and can recommend. Link:http://www.deanosautorestorations.com.au/

You could contact David Smith from Bellarine Classic Autos. They posted on facebook a couple of days ago indicating they are having them remade from the original dies. Here are a some extracts from that discussion:
Update on the NEW HK Monaro quarters: eta Jan - Feb 18 HT and HG in the following months. Delays are beyond our control. These are being pressed out of the original factory press and will be worth the time and effort going into this process. Long story short, Holden sold them for scrap and the scrappy had the hindsight to put them into storage. Still not finalised however we are hoping to sell them for around the $5,500 price mark per panel.

I’m still skeptical as GMH used a massive Hamilton press for those panels, and unless the same pressure can be applied (which I doubt) they can’t be the same off the original dies. We’ll see though I guess.
How’d they get the HK dies? They would have been modified into HT surely? As I said time will tell! |

Don't know the answer to that HK; just happened to see the discussion the other day. Not certain if this will work but here is a link to the discussion. Even if you are not a member of facebook I think you should be able to read the whole thing - you will need to expand all the comments on the subject by clicking on the line reading "View 18 more Comments" You will see comments to the effect though that the dies need restoration work to get the body lines correct - work which is underway apparently https://www.facebook.com/groups/dirtydavo/
